Rinspeed XchangE...tuned AND autonomous Tesla S
 

Swiss tuner, Rinspeed just unveiled its XchangE autonomous concept, based on the Tesla S. The exterior design is unmistakably an S model with large air dams and rear spoiler but the interior has been overhauled for autonomous...driving? The front seats are swivel models to let the front PASSENGERS interact with the rear passengers, they can also LOUNGE flat, and even watch on a large pop-up screen on the rear cabin. The 'dash' is really an infotainment center that could be switched from the the front 'driver' to the passenger position or parked at the center position. There is even an appliance that dispenses coffee/espresso to keep them alert from all that...lounging. Lucky for me my commuting days should end at about the same time autonomous driving becomes a reality. I actually *like* to drive; it's all those idiots around me that take some of the fun out of it.
