On-the-road breakdown
My car's engine suddenly died while on visit to my dad's. We towed it to the local Honda dealership where they found it was the coil and ignitor. The car as the center of attention the whole time it was in the shop where they were calling it "The Space Shuttle". Its been 170,000 miles since my last on-the-road breakdown, so I'm not complaining. This was the third on-the-road breakdown since I bought the car new. The first was at 170,000 miles when the main relay failed, the second was at 290,000 miles when the timing belt failed prematurily, and todays was at 461,000 miles.

Sounds like a pretty good record there...except everyone knew the relay was going to die. Mine did the same thing but it just prevented me from starting up one morning.
Hope it wasn't too expensive for ya. |
The equivalent of one month's payment if I were paying off an auto loan.

Curious.... what was their reaction to your FE?
|
What was there reaction to the belly pan (if they needed to get access from underneath the car)?
|
How complicated was it to get hooked up to the tow truck?
