Rps
RPM divided by selected Speed in chosen KPH or MPH.
I'd be looking for a number like 20 in metric, 32 in miles. The lower the better. It only needs one decimal place. It would show a relative gear ratio, easy to see if you are in overdrive and or locked up. I so want that on a ScanGauge. Are there any other slushbox pilots out there that would like this? |
Who, do you want revolutions per second or revolutions per mile.

Who -
This definitely looks like a more complicated version of the SGII "XGauge" function. I have heard that there is/was a USB port planned for the SG. If it had that, then the potential for complex functions would be easy peasy. Kind of like SGXX meets the HP-11C Calculator from Mars : http://www.hpmuseum.org/11c.jpg (gotta go find mine) CarloSW2 |
:p I like my hp 41CX better!
It's a simple way of showing overall gearing and let's you know when you have torque converter slippage. Both numbers are there... |
