sweep dials

Great idea.

I'm also interested in sweep dials, and the screen shot button is useful as well.

Very cool. Are you using bluetooth or a physical connection to the tablet?

I am curious as well. It would be nice to have the option to charge and detect through the same connection.

I always liked the idea of a removeable instrument cluster that was coded to your car to eliminate theft.

I didn't know that Torque had a screenshot button, now. So shiny...

I just installed the Ultra-Gauge again, but I might remove it once more in favor of Torque. You can't beat how quickly the UG connects, though. I always feel like it's somewhat of a bother to start Torque every time I get in the car.

This is really nice. Simple and elegant. But I'm not sure I understand how you're getting the information to the tablet. Does your motor controller connect to the OBD2 bus and spit out data that way?

Defi makes a plug n play OBD-ii gauge system for any phone or tablet on iOS or Android OS. SMART ADAPTER W Summary | Defi - Exciting products by NS Japan

Their website does a bad job of explaining it and the pictures are lame. I have seen it in a NSX and it was beautiful!

Yip torque works great... fully customizable, and even does HUD mode, where it reflects in your window to give you heads up display. Not sure how legal??
