saveyourgasmoney.com

I have been hearing these ads on the radio. Claims that a stainless-steel device that installs in minutes, can save 25-40 % on gas. Without going to the website, Im assuming that it's one of those air intake spinners. anyone have an opinion on this ?
Save Your Gas Money

euromodder 06-07-2011 02:47 PM

Save your money altogether by not buying these ripp-offs.

Our NITROGEN-ON-DEMAND technology utilizes the existing nitrogen in our air to INCREASE GAS MILEAGE ON YOUR VEHICLE BY 20% - 40%.

Sure ...

cleanspeed1 06-07-2011 02:50 PM

These people need to be reported. I'm so getting sick of this.

Maybe we need to put a Unicorn Special together and bust these folks and others like them.

robchalmers 06-07-2011 04:51 PM

don't they sell that thing that gives you a operation-free 3-4inch gain and gets you laid every night??

TheSilverBullet 06-07-2011 04:55 PM

i hear on the radio ads that they have experts on the phone who are ready to answer questions.

cleanspeed1 06-07-2011 05:12 PM

Hi, I'm Dr. Whizly and we here at Scamlab, Inc. have produced data that proves whatever this person is selling works. Look at our spreadsheets! Aren't they pretty? And look! Here's a testimonial from Fanny S. in Roanoke. Before the gizmo, I was getting 10 mpg in my 78 Lincoln 4 door, after the easy installation I am now getting 40 mpg and my love handles disappeared!

Give me a break.

Our NITROGEN-ON-DEMAND generators require NO Mechanic for installation, NO Electrical Wiring, NO Fuses, NO Relays, NO Amp Readers, NO Corrosive Electrolyte, NO Water, NO Modifications, NO Extra Parts, NO Maintenance and NO Running Costs.
Wow, with all that NO, I hope it costs NO money....

1. Will this this affects the oxygen sensor and on board computer and it will adjust after installation and reduce my M.P.G?
With our nitrogen on demand generators, the gas connects to the PCV which is NOT near to the oxygen sensor so it will not be affected. Hence, the on board computer will not adjust because it will not sense the presents of the nitrogen gas.
More free presents of nitrogen gas, cool!

TheSilverBullet 06-07-2011 05:45 PM

so it's like a Nitrous Direct injection pump ?

Nitrous oxide? No. "nitro gas" An unknown substance.
Direct injection? No. Sucked in through the PCV port.
Pump? Nope.

I'd like to know what is inside that thing. Somewhere they say a catalyst, but I don't know of anything that can convert nitrogen into anything useful in a single pass, at about room temperature and pressure. Simply amazing, and almost $1000 to boot!

UFO 06-07-2011 06:25 PM

Yeah, save your gas money for one of our shiny stainless mystery canisters.....

TheSilverBullet 06-07-2011 06:37 PM

maybe we should invite one of their experts to this thread

cleanspeed1 06-07-2011 06:50 PM

And if you buy right now, we'll throw in exhaust freshener! Jasmine, black gold, annnnndddd for that special lady, white diamond!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy now, you fools!

For the first 1000 purchasers, they'll receive a lovely letter from the company heads in sunny Acapulco! While on vacation! On a boat!

Wait, we weren't supposed to say that?

Plain nitrogen, they call it a nitrogen on demand system .

Neither do I.
N2 is pretty much inert

But by invoking a "catalyst", like a deus-ex-machina, you can be very enigmatic about it all.

Legumes. You can get a package of pea seeds for a couple of bucks, and in only 60-90 days (depending on variety & growing season) you too can convert nitrogen into something useful :-)

markweatherill 06-08-2011 01:45 PM

Don't forget you can always have a free trial of this, and similar devices, by simply printing out the technical explanation on their website, and wrapping it round your car's air intake, fuel line, exhaust pipe or wherever the device itself is supposed to be fitted.

TheEnemy 06-08-2011 03:15 PM

The NITROGEN-ON-DEMAND GENERATOR is a quick and and easy installation. This innovative technology converts ordinary nitrogen (non-combustible) in the atmosphere into a nitro gas (combustible).

Nitrogen is pulled from the air into the Catalyst Reaction Chamber (generator) connected to the PCV valve. When the air enters the generator it is purified into a combustible nitro gas. The nitro gas is pulled into the air intake manifold through the PCV valve. It then fully combusts the unburned hydrocarbons (gas) in the air intake manifold allowing the engine to operate at a leaner air to fuel mixture producing more power and increased gas mileage.

Ok so what exacly is nitro gas supposed to be?

Nitro gas is produced when one eats a bad burrito!:p Man, I can go all day with this!

Now I can see how that would save gas, its an alternative fuel:D

Hey, I got a great idea. For $750.00, we'll install a methane capture unit in the seats with scent control, put a storage tank somewhere in the vehicle and when the level is up, push a button and use it as a booster!

C'mon! It'd be great!

We'll call it the Flatulator 1000!

Tag line: Have bad gas? Make your car fast!:D

Joenavy85 06-08-2011 06:07 PM

I'm in for the research on that one

cleanspeed1 06-08-2011 06:30 PM

OKOKOK, here we go!

"Has the high price of gas got you down?"

"Eating more junk food than usual?"

"Have refried beans become a staple diet in your life?"

We have the solution to all your problems!

By cutting the cheese, you're cutting your fuel costs!

Here's a testimonial from a drag racer: " I was lined up against the champion and felt nervous at the tree. Then the nachos that I got from the concessions started going into extra innings in my gut. What to do, what to do? Good thing that I had the Flatulator on board!
Champ cuts a perfect light, I proceed to let out a combustible. Even though he tree'd the heck out of me, the power from the Flatulator allowed me to beat him by 10 cars!
Won the race and got relief!

Thanks Flatulator!

And remember folks, "that pain in your <thpttt> will save you gas!"

It would be interesting to know how many stupids buy into that thing.

It would only take a few for that company to make an obscene profit. A stainless catch can and some tubing costs them less than $10 in materials in significant quantity. To return $500 or more in profit on each sale adds up quickly. What a scam.

So what they're saying is that it burns the gasoline IN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, before it even gets to the cylinders, and this is supposed to create more power? That's... Words fail me. These guys are wasting their time selling this, they should go into politics, or start a religion.

Phantom 06-09-2011 04:55 PM

I think this is that it turns N2 into R/C Nitro Gas Car

trooper Tdiesel 06-09-2011 09:49 PM

but if you call right now you can get my new car for free with a perches of 10K of these things in my front room.

ERRR did'ent mean to say that in there

Frank Lee 06-10-2011 12:22 AM

Perches? Are we talking about the Fish carb now?

trooper Tdiesel 06-10-2011 01:18 AM

no i just cant speel worth a darn:D

Dunno, but it looks like they have the ultimate solution to the worlds energy needs.
Making energy out of air, just a box with a bit of magic catalyst in it.
Now wouldn't that be something !

Yeah, right.

No, no, no; we're talking about Charlie the parakeet's hanging spot, next to the Fish carb tank. Wait, I thought fish was a good source of protein, not carbs.:p

Spellcheck on aisle 3!!!!:D

If you could control the amount of 02 instream to your intake you could run without any throttle, you would need many cubic Ft/sec to make that happen though.
