Scangauge E fillup entry

Hello,

Have been using scangauge E for a month now and I really like it, but the only problem I have with it is price input when I make a fillup. Digits for price are changing realy slowly .1 in about 3 seconds. Have anyone else got same problem?

I normally don't bother updating the gas cost. Its only used for the money calculation gauges which I never use. I also don't bother calibrating my scangauge after ever fill. Once I get it close enough for me, I just leave it.

I agree with your points, but it is so much nicer to see each trip cost :D

About calibrating: It is no problem to make adjustments in each fillup, to make it spot on... I managed to do it with 3 tanks, and now I am with in +/- 0,1 L/100KM

You're describing slow digit changes when you HOLD the adjustment button? I'm sure you've tried tapping it repeatedly - does that work?

Yes digits are changing slowly when I hold button, and yes, I tried tapping button, but it did not help either.

I am starting to think that it is some kind of firmware bug. Maybe somone else has seen that same problem?

Not being able to speed it up by tapping is odd. I'd contact the company directly.

So is this worse than the Scanguage II or the same slow method on both devices?

amdown - did you contact the company about this? If so, I'm curious about what they said.
