Scangauge not turning on
 

Ok for the short story: if I start my car and idle it for a seconds my scangauge comes on and everything is fine. If I get in, buckle up, release e-brake, clutch in and select 1st and THEN start the car and get moving rite away, the scangauge won't turn on....ever, unless I hit a button on it (usually the one with the red ring). This ever happen to anyone? Gauge is older unit with EM.com software update. I'm set on hybrid mode and think turn off if set to comp, thinking maybe I should change something but not sure what...

Take note of your calibration and try a full reset.

I've noticed similar behavior at times... pre-EM update.

It doesn't bother me... I just remember to tap a button to wake it up before driving.

If it bugs you, I'd get in touch with the company to see what they say.

Hmm ok I'll have to see if I can really create the behavior before I take any more steps on this. Maybe I'll switch it with my other unit to compare, pretty sure they both set up the way but my other doesn't have the EM software. Time to start experimenting!
