Scangauge in Toyota Echo, Xgauge problem.

I'm wondering if anyone with a early Toyota echo is using Xgauges. What protocol are you using? Mine is a 2000. When I set the mode to auto, it switched to KWPS protocol. The regular gauges on the Scangauge all work fine. I'm trying to set up fuel trim and O2 sensor gauges so I can diagnose a error code, but when I used the KWP formulas from the scangauge site the gauges don't report. I know they can report because they work with the Torque app and a ELM adapter.

Think I got it figured out on my own. I used the formulas for the ISO protocol and they read. Not sure why the ISO protocols work when it says it is in KWPS mode but they seem to. Forced the mode to ISO and it seems to be working that way as well. I've only tried it for a few minutes but good sign.

Well, it reads but doesn't seem right so I'll ask again about the programming. The short term fuel trim seem to read what I would expect but the long term fuel trim seems more like it's following throttle response. It instantly goes high when I accelerate and then drops off as soon as I let off the throttle. Anyone have any experience with this issue?
