Scanguage IAT reading blank
 

I have a 2000 Plymouth neon and my scanguage will not read the IAT reading (fAT reading on gauge). I have previously used this scanguage on my 2008 Silverado and all functions worked fine. I am getting ready to try out a new hot air intake, and would like to have this parameter available to me for testing purposes. If anyone has any insight to how I can resolve this please let me know. BTW, I have already tried all three different settings for the refresh rate (SLOW-NORMAL-FAST) and that did not change it. Also, I unplugged the IAT connector and the car threw the P1193 code, indicating a faulty IAT, so the computer is definitely reading the information. Any help would be appreciated.

As a side not I am everaging 41MPG out of this thing and just want to increase it.

Perhaps the OBDII protocol is set incorrectly? It is supposed to auto detect this, but maybe its wrong?
