Science papers: Magnetic/sed Water increases conductivity and , decreases surface tension and friction.
All this sounds like voodoo I know
How can a magnetic field have a (semi?) permanent effect on water molecules!? Well; no ones sure exactly whatTF magnetism actually is just for a start and one must not forget that water molecules are polar with the O being more negative and the 2 Hs more positive, so will be affected, at least while in a magnetic field. (So far: electron spin state (up/down) and orbitals are affected and used in MRI machines and such. Then there's the Wiedemann Effect. But ye; much I/we will never fathom..? ) So what generally happens is scientists test, measure and quantify the effects of things on other things and these are the FACTS/effects of interest to me/us that have been found for water:
Effect of magnetic field on the physical properties of water - ScienceDirect The effect of a static magnetic field on the hydrogen bonding in water using frictional experiments - ScienceDirect NB: You have to READ the studies to get optimal field strength, orientation etc. Whether these effects a large enough to be measurable and make a difference in water cooled engines is unknown at this point, but worth experimenting with IMHO. (for race car cooling..?) There are various Water Line Magnets for sale that one could easily try. (strong enough??) This is 'Out There!' for sure! But if you want any and every edge in your economy; less parasitic drag from the water pump and less (un-aero) radiator reqd is an easily testable, reversable plus..? :) |
:) No-one's willing to touch this with a 10-foot pole! LOL! :D
Expected... But I still wonder if it might make an appreciable difference... Fingers crossed that I'll be able to find out for myself soon. |
