Yeah, I was going to say I'm in for close to 365 hours a year, at 1.25x. I'm also doing other things, so I don't necessarily pick up everything.
I'm ok when the hypnotist tells you he's going to hypnotize you, and this is how he's going to do it.
Who knows how many useful things I've picked up over the years?

It was a rough start this morning. I disagree that Tiawan's fall is inevitable.
Those commies in West Taiwan are digging away down at the bottom of a demographic hole.

So I tried to watch Episode 2859 and Youtube halted and whinged about an ad blocker.
I don't have an ad blocker and if the feature could be turned off in my helpful browser I won't even look to see.
I just open it in Rumble. He bought a smaller size shirt.

Whatifalthist: The Rise and Fall of the Bluepill
I found this a hopeful assessment, instead of a 'fourth turning' a narrative arc unique to our circumstance.
Most interesting was the idea that we're in a transition from a nation state to network paradigm.

Had a listen to Episode 2866. His solution to AI hallucinations (require three AIs to agree) is standard aerospace redundancy practice.

Reminded me of Minority Report.
As a tangent and related to autos, it is believed that most of the unintended acceleration events that occurred were the result of cosmic radiation causing a bit-flip in the computer, commanding full throttle. The solution is to build a redundant system that must agree.
We don't want bit-flipping to cause our robots to switch from protect mode, to kill mode.

What are the odds three AIs would agree on the same hallucination?

Contact high
Contact high is a phenomenon that occurs in otherwise sober people who experience a drug-like effect just by coming into contact with someone who is under the influence of a psychoactive drug. In a similar way to the placebo effect, a contact high may be caused by classical conditioning as well as by the physical and social setting. A 1970s glossary of drug users' language describes a contact high as "a psychogenic 'trip' without taking drugs, by being close to somebody while he is on drugs". Wikipedia

I was once amused by seeing my own mother giggling like a school girl.
edit:
Not worst first? Those guys outside Home Depot aren't tax payers.

Not sure what differences you'll get, but loading the same data into a computer tends toward getting the same results, or at least back when I masqueraded as a programmer operator. In business it was kinda the point.
Supervising bean counters get preturbed when the list of added up numbers dont somehow agree.

Scott has been sounding better the past week. Pain appears to be better managed at the moment.

I don't know how it works, but AI doesn't just return facts and figures. It can suggest what interior paint color and sheen given details about the floors, furniture, what type of room it is, style of house, personal objectives...
Subjective recommendations are not something that add up, are likely to have different results from different AI implementations, and will change as time and circumstances change.

They're using beans as tokens for intangible effects. What could possibly go awry.
