Scott mentions LED light being used to fight cancer, and asks if the news is going to report that as a suggestion to drink bleach to fight cancer.

Penetration of Infrared Light
The ability of infrared light to penetrate human tissue varies by wavelength:
Near-Infrared (NIR): Wavelengths from 650 nm to 1350 nm are most effective for penetrating biological tissues. This range is often referred to as the "therapeutic window" because it allows for maximum depth of penetration
|
I saw an assertion that 840nm passes entirely through the body, but don't have that reference.

Scott missed yesterday saying he went to the ER. Today he tells the story of how he posted frustration getting an update on his treatment plan, then got a call from Don Jr., RFK Jr., Dr. Oz, then Trump reposted Scott's message and replied "On it". His phone was ringing off the hook this morning.
Sounds like he might get involved in another trial treatment that he's not permitted to talk about yet.

procedure according to Politico:
Not secret or rare.
NOT approved for us normal not politically connected to pumpkin man or his horde. Or have ten gazmillion followers on (insert name of online forum here)
You couldn't get that. So for you, you gonna die, it's your status in life based on your birth, no different from old fuedal society norms 1500 years ago.

Right to Try FDA Fact Sheet
Right to Try is a pathway for patients with life-threatening diseases to access certain investigational drugs that have not been approved by the FDA. Learn the eligibility criteria, the process, and the risks of using drugs under Right to Try.

The difference here is knowing the possibility exists.
Medicine is Okay, but dentistry is a dismal science. I've been hearing for 20 years about growing new teeth from pluripotent stem cells. It's now in trials in Japan.
I'll ask my dentist about right to try; just to antagonize them.

LOL, right to try dentures... as an aside we should have the right to try anything all the time. The whole "naturopathic medicine" industry essentially exists under "right to try".
Scott mentioned Pluvicto, which my wife has never heard of before. AI tells me the median survival of patients receiving the drug is 19 months, so it adds a few months for terminally ill patients.
He hinted at a trial therapy he hasn't disclosed yet. As freebeard mentions, every patient has the right to try.
To your point though, there might be a very new therapy with a very limited set of trial patients, and simply being well-connected might help get into that trial. He could end up in a control, receive no therapy, and simply become a datapoint, which he alluded to. If you're gonna die, might as well die usefully.
All of us receive different treatment based on our connections. I'm less likely to get a traffic citation in my town since I know the officers. I've never applied for a job- because of the connections that hooked me up. If I need body work on a car done, my brother-in-law will do it free. Connections is how every system works.

Scott mentioned platforms that address imaginary problems with imaginary solutions. He previously alluded to those that seek tribes that confiscate vs those that seek tribes who build.

Actually, I've moved on from wanting to replace one tooth to CRISPR gene therapy to induce an entire new set.
Not for my personally, I can get by; but dentistry is just palliative. Needs a kick in the b*tt.

Most of medicine is palliative. The physician entertains the patient while nature takes it's course.
I keep waiting for CRISPR to change everything... starting to feel like how carbon nanotubes are about to change everything.

I see that he's gotten to Episode 3016.
I forgot to bring headphones to the library, so it's down to subtitles. It's a tossup between him and Alex Christoforou. They both post every day, but Alex C. walks around various Eastern European cities, and it's more interesting to see the classical architecture and the differences in the various cities, today it's Larnica, Cyprus.
