Would this ever fit an 81 c-car?

It appears to have everything wrong but could it be made to work on an 81 Comutacar without extreme prejudice?

Let me know if you have any ideas.

If it'll fit, it then comes down to coming up with an adapter for that shaft. Might very well be a common spline that you can find at any industrial shop, or you could cut one off of an automotive transmission if you just happen to have one the right size.

Then again, it might depend on the input of your C-car...would be dead easy to weld a sprocket on to that shaft. or a motor coupler with different size shafts to each side.

Hope you have the controller to go with it.

I guess the real question is has anyone adapted a 19 spline golf cart motor to a 10 spline, I’m not sure if there is an easy way.

The mounting plate would just need some holes drilled and gasket maker

Are you looking for a 19 male to 10 female spline adapter?

Yes preferably that fits within the constraints of a c-car

I'm not familiar with the car at all. Is there an overall length you were looking at for the adapter. Like must be shorter than 3" or something?
