Seeking photos for a hypermiling news story
 

Hello everyone! I tried messaging the admins about this but never heard back.

My name is James Gilboy, and I'm working on a feature story about hypermiling for The Drive (can't link because new account, but we're easy to find). I'm looking for photos of people's modified cars, and info on how much their mods have boosted their mileage. Owners will be attributed according to preference—whether that's by username or by real name if you're comfortable.

Boy if you want a smoking good one somebody needs to find you that red Honda Civic or CRX or something in here with that clear rear spoiler from years ago. You will need some bones to hang the red meat on. I'd be asking (maybe a poll?) what are considered the most sigificant contibutions to our hive mind.

My own contribution seems to be hot air. But here's a picture of my range extender.

Best so far was at 45MPH through Eastern Oregon at 3AM -- 34MPG. Stock 1600 except carb was downsized from a 34PICT to a 32.
