Seems my odometer is off, can we adjust that?

I was curious if there was any feature in the fuel logs to put in an adjustment for odometers that are off? On a recent trip, I had one of those 5 mile marker checks along the freeway and, by the end of the 5 miles, my odometer was 0.2 miles off (at the 5 mile marker, my car said 4.8 miles basically). Instead of doing the math and adjusting for the life of my car per tank, is there any "automatic" adjusting that can be entered? Just curious. Thanx!

I've been manually correcting, but that would be a cool feature!

If I suspect my odometer is off I just do a 100 mile measurement on the Interstate and get a fractional difference to adjust my mileage. Funny thing is my 23 year old Sentra is dead on speedo and odometer.

No way I am aware of to adjust the odometer. It basically is a revolution counter, which if modified to change the reading would mean odometer tampering.

OldMech: I meant on the site (garage/fuel logs). Not on the odometer itself! :) The easy way to fix it is just to adjust tire size in real life. I was just curious if there was any way to add in per tank or for the life of the car an adjustment of some sort to compensate, so we can see what true MPG is.

On my Ranger after replacing the OE 14 inch wheels with 15s, I calculated the adjustment at 1.026 for the increased diameter of the replacement tires. I just multiplied theodometer reading by 1.026 to get the corrected reading that accurately replected the true distance.
I went back and recalculated my previous entries to the date when I replaced the wheels and tires.
