I even have several aviation lexan canopies to go with it :-)

Thanks for the kind words, to tell the truth, someone with a fair offer would get this thing, even if its not the full 1600. I just got a new car and need th cash ;-)

Id offer 600 if you lived in the same state. Im not sure exactly how you sit on it, what direction you face and how you steer it. :eek:

600s a bit low (I'm not sure one could buy a vw beam front end alone for that) the eBay auction ended I believe, I'll post pics tonight. Its a 2 seat tandem, you sit in it down low. I have an aviation canopy to complete the build with.

I just decided today to join the [ sell the beast ] club! As of this month it has been 4 years since I was kicked out of my condo for a condo rebuild. In 2010 I tore the 3-wheel Pod apart since it was too fast for a cheap frame. I planned to rebuild it around a frame made to safely handle going fast in a couple of years. The complex is finally done, it has taken 4 years with the Pod buried in a locked garage. Today I saw the Pod.:eek: What a mess- windshield is smashed, body so carefully stood up and zip-tied together was knocked over, both doors were in piles of materials used for the condo, the convertible top is shabby. Annoyed with it- I should write up a sign- how to turn a $3000.00 fibreglass/kevlar & lexan insulated shell into a $100. pile of junk in 4 years. Bah! Craigslist is calling.....

Correction: WAS calling. Sold. Got my garage and truck back last night. Now I can pull out my Chinese electric scooter from hibernation!

I was going to go ahead and get it on the road, but life continued to happen :-)

It runs, and I have a whole lotta parts to finish it, anyone in SoCal want a REALLY good deal on it?
