no more speed testing at Mojave Airport

In 2018, the Mojave Magnum, and Mojave Mile, at the Mojave Air and Spaceport, California, closed as a racing venue. There had been a motorcyclist fatality there in April of that year.
The Texas Mile and USFRA 130-Club remain as limited access, closed-courses for exploring aero mods.

That's also about when the innovative airport manager was replaced.

Curious, did they also close the test Air facility when they had their first test fatality?

Was that the Scaled Composites space plane Crash?
I went by their place after Bonneville, but they'd already closed the office for the weekend. I really wanted to see the 5-axis router.
I've not heard anything since the event. And with the iterative successes of Space X, competitors may have just bailed. Boeing can't even compete.
