sleeper sunfire?

heyahs. i am new here(posting anyways)
just finished the revolt thread.(square eyes now)

i am a bit of a speed demon, but i save it for the track days. i hate what pollution is doing to the environment and feel the ev world is short changing itself due to cost of hi-performance ev's. there has to be a way to make a conversion fast for similar costs of an ice, without compromising quality.

my car is a 98 sunfire 5 spd. although i am still researching how i am gonna do it, i have a pretty good idea what i want from it.
i want something that is quiet and eco friendly that can pull off the line faster than stock(120ish ft/lbs torque) and has top end similar to stock(150ish hp).
range goal when driving sensibly should be in the 60-80 miles.
possibly using a range extender for those longer trips.
i have a compact 7kw gas gen that would fit over the motor/trans. would continuously allow 50mph on this car(if my math is correct)

current possible setup is 100ahr lifepo4 x45 cells = 162v(fit in the back)
warp 9, (warp 11 with a shoehorn if it fits)
revolt 1000a controller(when it is done)
open source bms
open source charger
in dash touch screen gauges, pc handling gauges, stereo, and anything else i can think of.

long term goal is to explore the possibility of converting a vehicle capable of running in rally races. possibly a hybrid if battery technology is not up to the task.

It even eliminates the ads! Now let's see if deleting your posts reduces your post count...
