Robert Patterson has invented a wing structure that resembles ram's horns. He says that when affixed to the top of a vehicle it has the effect of creating a vortex that not only decreases wind resistance, but may actually even have a propelling effect, similar to a martial arts maneuver that utilizes the force of an attacker against him.

If one works, why not 10?

Maybe ten Implosion Wings + 88 mph = 1955 here I come!

I have looked at the RAM imposion wing jobber thats been around 20 years or more on and off and am almost tempted to build one. (why pay $250 for plans when the picture shows exactly what it is?)

Its not like a little plywood, styrofoam crafter molding and some mounts would be that expensive. And just by the pictures and by reading his forum I have all the dimensions to test and see if his odd looking airdam does anything to disrupt air flow or not.

I have a feeling we might be surprized but probably not pleasantly. Never know unless you try though, he claims you need to aim the thing in a windtunnel so its at the angle of departure. LoL

All I can say is, let's pretend for a second it DOES work, right? How are those tiny legs it's standing on going to conduct the pushing force into the vehicle? For example, if the car is sitting still on a flat surface with its transmission in neutral, and you push on the magic wing with your hands, those legs look like they'd just fold up.

What if you tie one to an ultralight glider? Can you fly forever?

In general I put the word "vortex" right next to words like "god" and "aura" and "chakra" and "heaven" that BS artists use to steal money from idiots.
