Snake People versus Baby Boomers
Sometimes, I want a break from studying for the GRE, which I finally take tomorrow, I go to reddit.com/r/funny, where the only material that makes it through User Submitted isn't funny. On occasion, I find something that makes everything feel worthwhile, but the rest of the time I find snake people complaining about baby boomers ruining everything. I ran across this:
What To Say When They Blame It On The Boomers. Forbes.com which I thought got better and better until it abruptly ended. I could easily come up with a much longer list of snake people complaints about baby boomers, but they do not have rebuttals because they are true? Who lets that stop them from making a good argument?! I hear that some weirdos call snake people "millenials." |
Never heard the term "Snake People".
Millennials... |
This Chrome extension replaces the word "millennials" with "snake people"
That page seemed fun until it clearly sided with Pesky whipper-snappers against Senile Panthers. |
Forbes thinks that landing page is helpful? The article page sucks with the cross-site scripting off. I'm especially skeptical of speedcurve.com and sharethrough.com.
The Millenials are a lost generation, they tend to be witches and commies. (I hear) the younger generation are more conservative. It was a boomer that wrote We Didn't Start The Fire. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nāga https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...mples_in_India There exist rock-cut temples in India (not sure which ones) where tunnels bore into the underground that are too small for a human to pass through. Whence came the Nāga. Today of course we think of them as shape-shifting reptilians. |
I don't understand why it would be wrong to call "millenials" so.
But anyway, so-called "progressive" millenials who still exploit their hard-working capitalist baby-boomer parents are not really entitled to complain too much about the old-school values often upheld by older people. And it doesn't surprise me to see so many kids embracing conservative views, because they fear for their future under the leadership (or should I call it dictatorship) of some degenerated millenials? |
The New York Times referred to Millennials as "Snake People" and The Great Recession as "Time of Shedding and Cold Rocks.” https://gizmodo.com/new-york-times-i...-to-1823587138
Actually, I shed quite a few things during that time. |
