He broke his toy, tried to fix it, got frustrated, asked a staffmember to help, she just shrugged, and I simply said "Let me look at it."
He responded with numerous punches, attempted to kick and bite, and managed to take out my polo.
I argue there are advantages to being a tall, male, and sturdily-built therapist.
Normally my job is far more satisfying! :)

No, I provide speech therapy to clients with special needs. I have had kids attack me before, but they were significantly younger and smaller. They never appeared to be honestly trying to hurt me, either.

It was a drone and I do not know what originally happened to it, but it appeared that he over-tightened a screw for one of the rotors and broke the mounting point.

I meant after he triggered a libertarian invocation of the right to self defense. A teachable moment about natural consequences, amirite?

He cursed early and often long before I started working with him.

I was able to drop that client and they moved them to another house, so I can continue seeing my other client there without worrying.
