(SOLD!) $125 for nearly new ScanGauge II - incl. shipping (SOLD)

We had someone return a ScanGauge II saying it wouldn't connect to his car.

It's been tested by Daox and it works fine.

(...Which left us wondering if the buyer just wanted to "rent" it for a while, and made up the story! :D )

So it's up for sale - first $125 gets it.

This gets you the computer & cable only (the box & manual were not returned, but you can get the manual online at: User Manuals : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge ).

Price includes shipping in continental US / Canada. (For shipping elsewhere, contact for a quote.)

Oh - and you can't RENT this one from us! :D Sale is final.

I'll take it!

What revision is it?

MetroMPG 09-16-2011 02:23 PM

It was originally shipped to us in May, so it's not the latest release.

Still want it??

PaleMelanesian 09-16-2011 02:38 PM

Absolutely. It's certainly newer than my SG1.5 with no xGauge and no Cutoff and no AVG gauge.

I can paypal if that's not a problem.

MetroMPG 09-16-2011 02:55 PM

PayPal is perfect: sales@ecomodder.com

Thanks, Andrew!

Got it. Thanks for quick shipping! :)

Now for the bad news. :( It won't connect to either of my Hondas - 96 civic or 04 odyssey. It sits there saying, "connecting..." until it falls asleep. I tested on a friend's Mazda3 and it hooked right up, so it's a problem with this unit and Hondas. I also tried the cable with my old unit and it's fine - confirmed the SG is the problem.

What car was the previous owner running it on? What car did you test it on? I'd like to know so I can maybe track down the specifics of the problem.

Or maybe I need to take this to Scangauge customer support. I hear they're good.

The previous user was overseas, but it was on an 02 Civic. We figured it had something to do with the possible difference in engines or obdII compliance.

You can try contacting linear logic. The customer support I've always gotten has been great.

PaleMelanesian 09-25-2011 07:03 PM

Thanks. It does sound like a Honda issue then. Strange.

I will take it up with LL.

MetroMPG 09-25-2011 10:37 PM

Sounds like a plan. On that subject, sent you a private message.

PaleMelanesian 09-30-2011 03:28 PM

It's on its way to Linear Logic. They offered me free repair, just send it in. MetroMPG has refunded me that extra shipping cost.

These are both outstanding - ecomodder and Scangauge. They'll take care of you.

PaleMelanesian 10-11-2011 10:45 PM

It's back, and it works! :) Thanks Metro and Scangauge for making things right.

Now I get to have fun with FOUR gauges showing! Wow! :p Trip AVG is by far my most useful to me. I've been showing only the Current screen, with occasional peeks at the gauges before coming back to Current. Now that I have AVG as one of the gauges... I can watch three others at the same time!

Daox 10-12-2011 09:10 AM

Glad to see it worked out alright. I've said it many times to others that Linear Logic has amazing customer service. Its worth the extra $ to support a GOOD company.

Enjoy the plethora of gauges! :)

Welcome to the future!

Good to hear it's all sorted out.

MetroMPG 10-13-2011 07:25 PM

Good point...
I'll mark this one "sold".
