Some aero ideas with a Blast

Some photos first. Here is my bike with an ordinary duffel bag (14" diameter, 30" long).

I have an old sleeping bag in it to bulk it up. In this next picture I am trying to give some taper to the bag by rolling up a stick parallel to the zipper, starting at the end of the bag:

Here it is, rolled up, with a tie in the handles to hold it together (this needs work):

Bag now flipped over, zipper side down. Handle loops pulled through the seat strap:

Here tied down with a bungee. The handle loop is pulled forward and down, the rear of the handle is pulled back and down, so it is pretty stable:

Anyway, that is the start of my investigation. I just got done getting back from the hardware store carrying two 8" x 24" stove pipe sections (had to put the sleeping bag inside to make things fit) so it is a fairly utilitarian setup. The taper is not as good as it could be, so I need to find a way to get more rollup and a way to lock it in when rolled up. The sleeping bag is ok to keep the shape, but I'd rather have some sort of air mattress, ideally with a tube connected to a little compressor so I could inflate or deflate as needed.

It looks like there is not enough room to sit, but you just get in there and push back, getting a good aero connection to the bag that way. The Blast is a very short bike! The rolled up stick serves to keep the bag from sagging down and covering the tail light.

You may notice I have moved the turn signals forward and under the seat. We'll see if that passes muster. It sure cleans up the back end of the bike.

I an thinking of putting this small cafe fairing on the bike:
Fairing

I hope it will improve the aerodynamics. Opinions will be appreciated. If not, I'll just leave it naked. I intend to remove the mirrors and use Bug Eyes, and I want a flatter handlebar so I have more forward lean. It's already the low seat which keeps me out of the wind pretty well, although I find it a bit uncomfortable so I don't know if I will keep that.
