Some lunatics built a 99.4 MPH 3-wheeled electric scooter from scratch and tested it on a highway.

freebeard!

It's a 3-wheeled in-line scooter!

the curious thing is that it automatically went to Colin Furze's latest video and Colin Furze tested out his dangerous vehicles on a runway! not a highway!

One of many things they did was modify a miter saw blade for their front disc brake.

The first step was removing the teeth.

I originally posted it in the lounge, but realized it belonged here--and I needed to put "Electric" in the title, so prest-o change-o!

So far, I've had mine up to 63 MPH going over I-5 at Skinner's Butte..

63 MPH sounds much safer than 99.4, but you also have a roll cage, windshield, harness, etc.

Then there are the physics of slamming on the brakes in your vehicle vs that scooter, but it's heavier and longer than a normal scooter.

Nice profile picture!

Wind resistance at 100 while standing is insane. Don't know why they wanted a scooter rather than something more practical.

2 wheels up front is smart because it's much more stable, and that's where the braking grip goes when stopping.
