Something is working, somehow!
Today I did a 75 mile journey (75% highway, 20% country roads, 5% town), from the north side of the Firth of Forth to the south side of Edinburgh and back. On the return journey I had just joined the Edinburgh City bypass when I joined a slow moving queue. 6 miles further on, when I got to the head of the queue, I found it was due to a breakdown in a live lane which had caused a cracker of a rear end shunt.
On returning home I checked my ScanGauge data and for the 75 miles I had managed 61.3 mpg UK. I was quite pleased with that figure, given the circumstances. Something I am doing must be right! |
Agreed. My MPGuino certainly helped me achieve much higher numbers. Even more than the strict warm air intake gain... which was impressive.
