Star in my Scangauge
 

A few days ago I took my car in for a quick warranty service (replace brake light switch). After they finished and I drove off, I noticed a small * when I was reviewing "Trip" stats from that day. In the ensuing days, the star only appeared when I looked at tank stats as a whole.

Does the * mean anything significant? As I was typing the above paragraph it struck me that it likely means that the gauge was disconnected at some point. Is this all that * means?

Yep, the * means it was disconnected at some point and the data may be incomplete.
