I am searching deeper now but that was a pretty standardized opening from memory so might work on others?? not sure.

wowsers that whipped me!
I followed the trailers till overly annoyed. The search "skirt" brings up everything except a skirt!
I did manage to find a few skirts but they were inners not exteriors.
Im not sure where else to go, The body kit I seen was positivly not home made nor such a perfect fit that it came from a body shop pro detailer.
This looked like ABS or fiberglass one size fits all over the fender opening profiled and perhaps double sided tape or trim sealed to the body unsure as it was moving. I thought I had piks but it was on video mode I guess and I havent been able to decode that yet either.
I want them, thier out there probbably from a limited production but I seen it!
For those who dont know me The POS is just a test car for my next one and I dont want to muck up a nice car just get good results of mid to low 60s from it.
Post up if you have any clues! their out there somewhere.

yes the pt's have a manufactured 'skirt' as an aftermarket product.
I posted picks a while back. But I don't know the source.

So your asking if P/T Cruiser skirts will fit a Kia? Or your next car will be a Cruiser?
Bubble skirts on slab-sided cars were popular in the 1960s, but I don't think they look quite right. On the PT Cruiser, OTOH, the more bubble the better.

UM no?
I am searching for those skirts. for the Kia or not isnt really important.
Nor how they appear on the P/T.
I do agree fully, looks bad P/T is a ugly car either ways.
The skirt manufacturer thats what Im looking for.

Oh, OK; it's a secret.

You agree with someone else then, IMHO the PT Cruiser is above average. I don't care for that roofline they copied from Posies' Extremeliner.
I prefer the roof profile and hatch on the Dodge Magnum.

Good luck then. If/when you find them I hope the clamping arrangement is to your liking. On a commercial product it probably won't be double-sided tape.

That to me is the interesting part; seeing how they are retained on the vehicle.
The early - 50's, 60's and 70's - ones used a lever arrangement that applied a clamp onto the fender lip. I haven't yet seen how the Cruiser ones attach.
What bothers me is that the skirt is likely to rub on the paint. Without searching on here, has anyone tried clear contact film, like for covering books, applied over the fender lip paint for protection?

That's where I'm at, as well. Should the skirt underlap, flush up to or overlap the fender lip?
For attachment I lean toward sockets at the front and back of the wheel well and tabs on the bottom of the skirt. Offer it up face-down and horizontally, insert tabs in sockets and rotate it up 90° to engage Dzus fastener[s] at the top center.

searched "pt cruiser rear wheel skirts" and the third link had these.
Race and Street: Chrysler PT Cruiser Fender skirts Unpainted
Is this what you were looking for? Seems pricey for the work that needs to be done.

Agree on the price but that's exactly what I want (per pair, one would hope).
Given the overlap fit, held up to a Beetle fender they might not be far off. But that lower line with the straight rolled opening lower with the rolled areas before and after is exactly it. The closest I'd seen before is an old Harry Bradley cover:
But the PT Cruiser skirt is more plausible in the way it pushes the opening outward and the overlap fit. I have adequate pieces of ABS to make my own, maybe I could hand rolled the edge with a track mounted heat lamp
