taller 5th gear options for 8th gen MT Civic?
 

Hi All- question for you...

I've got to crack open my 2008 Civic's 5speed MT due to a bent shift fork (hope that's all it is).

Given that I have to go to the trouble of pulling the whole transmission out of the car to replace the shift fork, I thought it would be a good time to explore swapping in a taller 5th gear- something closer to the AT's top gear would be great- given it's near 500 rpm lower at highway speeds than the MT, I'm sure it would improve my highway FE.

Does anyone know if there is a different gear option out there I can use?
