Tesla's Chinese Design and R&D Studio
 

Just after the rush of 'Made-in-China' Model 3 deliveries to the public and launching the Model Y program in the country, Tesla also announced their Design Studio and Engineering Center in Shanghai. It is their next expansion to dominate the Chinese local market. Tesla will design and produce all kinds of electric products and all types of electric vehicles for the Asian market.
Intriguing is a concept sketch of a smaller 'Chinese-styled' hatchback design that could be made alongside with the Model 3 and Model Y at their Tesla Gigafactory 3.
