Which of these 3 routes is most efficient?
 
Edit: 'B' is not the ultimate destination. There is only one feasible route to the next major town and these three routes all lead onto the same road a thousand feet or so away from my starting point.

I live at the top of a hill so my journeys always start with a downhill stretch but I haven't ever really put much thought towards which way would be the most efficient, I would be interested in hearing others' thoughts. There are three routes that I could theoretically take and each have their own unique characteristics.

Route One, 1410 feet - Green
This route runs 580 feet in a straight line from where I park, downhill to a crossroad junction at which I turn left, I can coast, albeit quite slowly most of the way to the junction. This street has parked cars either side between which two smaller cars can pass but larger vehicles require the road to be clear so there is a potential for having to stop part of the way down. The junction at the bottom can require, at worst, a wait of about 30 seconds and often has traffic to give way to. Visibility is poor at this junction so it always needs to be navigated slowly even if there is no traffic.

Route Two, 1026 feet - Orange
Route Two requires turning immediately off of Route One into a much narrower street with parked cars either side so the potential need to give way to another vehicle is greater however it is a quieter street so meeting another vehicle is less likely. After 600 feet of that road I turn right onto a 320 foot stretch which I can coast down most of before arriving at a busy-ish junction with good visibility. The longest wait at this junction would be less than that of the junction on Route One.

Route Three, 1197 feet - Blue
Route Three requires traveling 340 feet down Route One before turning off into a very small potholed lane. The narrow lane is extremely quiet but would need to be navigated the slowest of the three routes.

So as you can see each route has pros and cons, which would you take?

I prefer the road less traveled. It offers more freedom to fine-tune your techniques.

What are the speed limits in each route?

I agree with using the route with the least traffic. Traffic eats into my MPG's more than any other factor.

I'd also suggest trying one route per a tank and seeing how they compare.

But at only ~1000 feet, take the shortest route and ride a bicycle, or heck, walk.

30 MPH. These are only small local roads around my home.

I should have said that 'B' is not the ultimate destination, it's just the point at which I have no more choices as they all lead me to the road I would need to use anyway.
