For those looking to buy Honda Civic VX Wheels
 

Hello fellow ecomodders,

I figured I would set up a thread letting people know where to find Honda Civic VX Wheels. I look religiously for these wheels but have not had any luck finding them. Just today I stumbled across this website, 1994 Honda Civic Wheel - Action Crash - TheAutoPartsShop. I was amazed to find them, new even. If anyone knows of places to find them, go ahead and post them here to make it easy for people like me who search like crazy for these things. Also, if you can find the HX style wheels please feel free to post them as well, I have noticed that even those are becoming a bit of a hassle to find these days. I will continue to post whatever I find for however long I can.

Try Craigslist. That's where I found mine. I found a set painted gunmetal gray for $350.

Craigslist can turn up wanted wheels but you do have to keep looking till someone wants to sell some.

Take a look at www.car-part.com

You'll have to navigate the dropdown lists but the last time I looked, I found decent HX rims there for about $50-60. Car-part.com includes inventory from a huge number of salvage yards across the country so you have a pretty good chance of finding what you're looking for.

It's also well worth looking at wheels on Car-part.com that are far away from you if they are in better shape because the one I called quoted me $10 each for shipping, so it can be well worth having them mailed to you.

I have a full set of VX wheels with tires that I am not using. Wheels are in good shape. All tires hold air but need replaced.

As many have said, just keep checking local craigslist.

I know there is a set of HX wheels by me with nearly tires for $280.

No VX wheels in Oregon right now, but there's a couple VX engine/transmission sets for sale.

Though, this thread should probably be moved over to the EcoModding Central forum, since this isn't about aerodynamics.

If he sold them in the last seven months, you could follow Brucepick's advice, look on Craigslist or Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market.

I sold the extra set I had for $200 locally. Good luck in your search. I am sure some will turn up.

If you pay the sticker price, you are basically throwing money at the dealer. You should never have to pay the advertised price for a Honda Civic VX Wheels. These prices are purposefully high in order to give some money to play around with in order to make a deal.

Hello. I am selling 5 Honda Civic VX 13" wheels with tires. The wheels are in good shape. They all have the Honda logo caps. There are 4 tires with 80% tread life left. I have the receipt for them. The 5th wheel has an older tire on it and was used as a spare. I live in the San Fernando Valley (LA county.)
