Those wacky & cwazy Chinese

...would be nice on rainy bike days.

But intriguing DIY fabrication techniques.

That reminds me of a Peugeot commercial:

One might say that is as likely as any Chinese made car to pass a crashworthiness test.

What is that body material they are attaching to the frame? Seems very flexible and seems to combine some rigidity with enough flexibility to make compound curves quite easily. What is it? Seems like an ecomodder's delight.

Maybe another resource from the sign industry & architectural/industrial design model makers, it looks and works like a closed-cell, expanded PVC sheet. A flexible & homogeneous material, easy to cut, sanded, nailed, riveted, glued and even some thermo-forming. Even fire-resistant.
Goes by Sintra, Komatex, Trovicel, etc. - comes in 3mm - 6mm thick 4 x 8 sheets. Even comes in solid colors.

They really are wacky, a sane person would have built an F40, 959 or a DMC or something while they were at it.

I'd have made a Datsun B210 or a Saab Sonett III. What of it? :P

Reminds me of one someone did resembling a Porsche 997.
