Too good to be true gimmick?
Just stumbled across this on FB....I am guessing it’s another scam gadget waiting to be bought up in droves by the unsuspected?
Any thoughts? https://www.ecofuel24.pro/products |
It's a fraud, it's nothing more than a couple resistors to 'trick' the engine sensor(s).
|
It's the OBDII brother of the Fuel Shark.
|
I think our fellow member Harlan tested one of those.
It should be available on his youtube channel « voiding warranties » His channel is also pretty cool. Worth checking out. |
I feel like this stuff should be posted in Unicorn Corral first, and then "freed" if it turns out to be legit. Guilty until proven innocent. ;)
|
Now, a russian roulette version of this that had a 5 percent chance of deploying the airbasgs every time the car is started is very much doable and would be a very very interesting gizmo.
I suppose some people would buy it. Introducing the RouletteShark(tm) now with selectable deployment probability!! In ECO mode, it can deploy the airbags with brake pedal activation. I bet you would see some FE gain then. |
Maybe some VW (/Renault/Hyundai/etc/etc) products get tricked into thinking they are on a test cyclus ;) That would be a thing...
They'd be 'less nice to drive' then though. |
They consume more fuel then :(
