Tractor Inner Tube for frontal aero-modding

Has anyone tried to take one of these and cut it into a front auto bra/grill block/ air dam/ front wheel skirts?

I don't have one to play with (yet) but I wonder if you could just make the necessary alterations, and stretch it across, attaching it to the body panels with some clips or something. I suspect a minimal frame may have to be added depending on the car/truck.

What I've done,is to inflate it and see if the overall dimensions 'fit' the project. If so,a plaster splash can be made from it,from which a nice fiberglass wet layup can be made.
It a very fast way to get extremely difficult to fabricate compound curves.:)
