-About 100 capsels are running in finland at the moment. Longest have used them for over four months without any problems.

- Only at front wheels. If you have a wheel weight you have two options. Use tape wheel weights like used on passenger cars aluminium wheels. Or to mill room for the weight to the capsel.



From a safety aspect...
What kind of speed testing has been performed with this product?
Speed only to 100 km/h or 62 mph. Limit for busses in finland. I would say they can take speeds up to 100 MPH easily.
Can this product be installed incorrectly?

- Only if your rim does not have enough deep U-groove. Minimum is about 5 mm deep groove. When you assemble them to rim you should pull from each hole to make sure its installed correctly. If rim is does not have enough deep U-groove or you have too long wheel nuts capsel will come off too easily. Pulling force about one KG. If capsel is securely on the wheel you need about ten kilos of pulling force to remove the capsel with wrong technigue.

If this product does come off the rim on it's own, what will happen?

On speed capsel will rotate like any wheel that comes off. This however in more lighter than regular stainless steel hubcaps or its competitors. Basicly that could cause injury or even death in worst case scenary when capsel cuts your throat open. Anyway if you check your car normally like you should do anyway they wont fall off in normal driving conditions.
What sort of liabilities will yer product carry?

Should make a poster/stamp where I say that I dont have nothing to do with any injuries with this product. Assembler and the driver is responsible of any accidents etc?
Will this product fail on it's own?

No it can take heat, moisture, sun and cold weathers. Over long time like over 5 years plastic will start to loose its best properties but still it will hold in place.
What are the signs of failure?

If there becomes any visible cracks to surface or FleXcap color starts to fade.

Will this product still remain on the rim if one or more tabs break?

-If you lose only one part between those holes yes. If you lose two parts havent tested that but then you should change the capsel as soon as you notice them get broken. Capsel didint lose any part when is was kicked with full force like on the video. Same test was done three times to same capsel with no visible damges. So if you some pieces that hit will be quite massive and your driver will notice it on the drivers seat.
Does this product have to have meet specific DOT/SAE requirements over here in the USA?

At least in europe there are no rules to hubcaps but I am not sure about the states. My competitors dont mention anything that they fulfills some requirements :/.
