Hey guys,
I am currently working on starting a forum. I had an idea a few years ago, and recently a friend of mine (who I tried to do it with years ago) presented me with this idea again...
So we want to build a forum, using the vBulletin. I was wondering what experience, advice, and knowledge the ladies and gentlemen of this site have for building and maintaining a forum. I am going to use vBulletin, the beta of version 5 and use the mobile feature- to make it into an application for ios/google.
Some specific questions I have are:
Can I host this like a traditional website on the servers of my host?
How simple is vBulletin to use?
Has anyone used their mobile license?
It seems pretty simple to get started and keep going, do you guys agree/disagree?
Are there any pregame warnings I should know about?
