Whats your longest daily coast?

so far this is sortof my longest daily coast. its about 12km (7.5mi) to work. total distance to work is 17km (10.5 mi) in the morning. at 8km on the graph I use about 20 to 30 seconds of throttle to help and again at 10.5km about 5 to 7 sec of throttle.

I'm really happy when I get to coast for 2-3 km.

Daily isn't something I do - I work at home, so there are many days I don't even drive anywhere - but I have one of about 12 miles that I do fairly often.

When I go to my parents house there are three major hills that I drop down to 4th and am at 5in on my vacuum gauge on the way up, but on the way back down I EOC and go for about 3 miles on the longest hill. But what sucks is I normally stay at their house until night so I am EOC'ing with the lights on and that not too good for my battery.

my house is at the top of a 2 mile hill. I pull out my driveway accelerate to 20mph and coast all the way down if I'm lucky the next two lights are green and I can coast onto the highway ramp just hitting 45 at the bottom. bumpstart and give it 10mph to merge and I'm good.

I also have to drive back up the hill when I go home but at least the engine is warm. I have considered parking on the shoulder on the other side of the street and just pushing the clutch to start rolling.

not sure the neighbors would like that tho

I used to have a nice one mile coast, but switching gyms I have lost it, and doubled my in city stop and go. Now my longest is just a half mile.

like dave says you have to come back up that hill. but it is usually a lot warmer in the afternoons which helps!
