UK MPG readings and VSS

Hi all

I have just received my mpguino all the way from the states and am getting ready to wire it up to my motorbike (honda varadero 125 2009).

I am wondering, if I set it up by telling it uk gallons on first calibration, is it going to read acurately?

Also, my VSS sensor has 3 cables, I think one is 12v, one is ground, and the other is the 5v signal pulse. Does this sound about right?

Thanks in advance!

curious, not opting for metric?

If you calibrate it for UK gallons in the setup screen then it should be accurate for UK gallons. Note that the metric mode only affects the "runtime" display, and the calibration should be done in US gallons in that case for proper conversion.

The main reason is that in the UK we buy fuel in litres, meausure distance in miles, and work on miles per gallon.

I can probably to miles per liter or something along those lines, but as Im used to MPG I would rather stick with that.
