Under 3 cents a mile
 

Latest fill with gas @ $1.689 and 58.5 MPG, 575 watts per mile. $30 per 1k miles. It cost me $10 per 1k miles, in the summer of 1968 at 1 cent a mile in my Bugeye Sprite at 32 MPG and 32 cents a gallon. I was working 40 hours for $22.79 take home in an amusement park. Not much money but a lot of nice looking ladies!

I'm at about 2.7 cents a mile in Ron Burgundy over the summer, and right at 3.2 cents a mile over the time I've owned it, a little over 10,000 miles.
