Understanding Aerodynamic Drag, Laminar and Turbulent Flow, etc

These videos do a really good job of easily explaining aero drag, Laminar and Turbulent Flow, Bernoulli's Equation, Viscosity, etc.

That's a lot of videos.

For analytic purposes what's needed is a sliding scale between the two.

This reduces to an octahedron. The only thing pointier is the tetrahedron.

The idea is: For those who want to learn/study the basics, these easy to understand videos will get you started in the right direction.

That beats the hell out of; highly technical phrases, specifically written to make it sound way above a mere mortal's head. Rather just listen to Aero-God without question.

About that formula in the last thumbnail....

An Octahedron will have three Cds for the three orientations(vertex, edge and face forward), that will converge to the Cd of a smooth sphere at higher frequencies. I'd like to see those mapped to a graph.
