...the consensus seems to be that such "after-market" tweeks are not truly useful for fuel economy.

...they do seem to work for bumping up HP (and fuel consumption) however.

The G Force "chip" is a resistor that "spoofs" the intake air temperature sensor to tell the ECU that the intake air is colder than it actually is, and results in a few more degrees of ignition advance. Save your money.

Thumbs down g-force chip

Do not buy this chip its a rip off
here is why:
i ordered the chip after 30 days of waiting, I emailed them ,"they said it was shipped i should receive it. they said "Shipped. 1-1.5 week arrival". its been 3 weeks.
they used to sell these chips for $399.00 and now they sell them for $69.00
maybe its because they want to get rid of them or they are scamming before closing up shop.

Regards
Jag

this chip is not worth it. i tried it and was not happy at all. i did come across volo soft flash programmer. they are for hho systems but carry regular ones as well.look up volo performance.com, model fs3.1 . definitely less power and hit 200 miles before half tank mark (still first tank with this).it is looking promising.

I haven't used the G-Force, but I did try another brand on my '02 Escort a few years ago. I took advantage of the money back offer. Lowered the FE, if I remember correctly about 2-4 MPG decrease.

What kind of results did you get with the FS3?

Why do you want a G-force chip? do you wanna go to drag track?
For fuel consumption it can't do anything.
