Veeco RT - Electric 2 Seat Reverse Trike

This is a new prototype electric reverse trike 2 seat, designed in Lisbon, Portugal:

Veeco RT Home (English)

Veeco RT - Car Body Design

They are claiming a 250 mile range, which is if true, very impressive. The battery pack is just forward of the front axle, so the Cg is probably okay.

Very similar to one that vanished from Oregon, US, in 2008. Very sad 3-wheelers stay on such a low status around here. This had a rag-top, air conditioning, power everything, stereo, cruise... then *poof* gone. Cool pics of the Portugal prototype.

I like it.

The battery pack being in front of the front wheels, the simplified chassis, most of the body lines... The front kinda reminds me of a CR-Z. Looks good.

Chrome says that link contains malware. Does anyone else get that warning?

iveyjh 02-17-2013 10:10 AM

yes, I get the same.

Christopher Jordan 02-17-2013 11:26 AM

Yes - warning after warning. I got the same warnings a few years back from another site from a site in India, and when I ignored it and continued everything stopped working and everything in memory was gone. I get those warnings now and immediately stop.

Malware

Good to hear that everyone is getting the warnings. I got them on the English site only, not the Car Body design link.

NeilBlanchard 02-17-2013 10:29 PM

I'm not getting any warnings - I'm using a iMac with Firefox, so maybe that makes a difference?

Smurf 02-18-2013 08:55 PM

... that might explain some things.

Windows 8 laptop, IE10. Past few days have been horribly slow browsing. I also have some white bar that pops up on the bottom of most webpages (every Ecomodder page) saying "Related Searches:" then listing five things to click on.

I miss Windows XP.
