Veggie Oil Bus
 

While I was at the auto parts store today, I heard a guy mention he was getting 10 mpg.

Of course that peaked my interest and I asked "Whatcha driving?"

He answered that it was a 1977 Greyhound bus he's converting to vegetable oil!

He's a musician, and his band travels in it a lot, and he's sick of the price of fuel for it!

I told him about my electric vehicle projects and the people I know doing bio-diesel and veggie oil conversions.

He's playing in a bar tonight from 5-10. I might go over there to say hello!

I would love to follow up with this guy, maybe make a video on what he's doing in his conversion!!!

If you do go hear them play tell the band about this site (Reverb) they are east coasters but they have dialed cleaner touring from busses to fan impact etc.
