Lol! That's so awesome!

thats great but it leaves me wondering about the braking capacity of the motorcycle and also with such a short (and narrow) weelbase on the bike it must be terrible going downhill!! seriously though, i shouldnt tow vehicles with my 02 wrangler because of how short the wheelbase is, but i have done it and the weight of the car can push it when i come to a stop. just my thought, i should learn to rant in a smaller font so it doesnt look so big. lol

Is that actually being sold as a product?

Lazarus 02-14-2008 11:09 AM

That's pretty cool.

I wonder what kind of mileage the scooter gets just by itself? It does not look to FE friendly.

Oh, as a side question, is driving between traffic like that legal? if it's illegal, will any cop care?

Lazarus 02-14-2008 11:29 AM

Depends on where you are located. It called lane splitting. You would have to check your state laws. It is legal in CA and Texas. I don't know how safe it is but it would sure save time.

I bet the ability of this machine to do lane splitting is why this contraption was made. It can get through traffic to a disabled vehicle when a full size tow truck can't.

It's illegal to drive between lanes in AZ, or to share a lane with a car.
sharing a lane with another motorcycle is only allowed when "both drivers know each other and approve of the lane sharing." which is a pretty weak law IMHO.
