A Google search for recumbent trike info brought this thread up... nice video coverage. The things look pretty goofy, but it's gotta be more comfy than a seat point up the backside on hard/bumpy surfaces. I'm actually looking for basic build plans that I can include a small weedwhacker or chainsaw engine and a freewheel hub in the crankshaft, so I can register it as a moped and make it road legal. |
That thing reminds me of a racing wheelchair, the kind you might see at the Special Olympics. Quite neat, actually, but takes up the whole width of the bike lane.
