Volts from heaven!
My batteries were low Wednesday, as expected since they do not hold a charge. I gave them a 3 hour charge to 13.6 volts and drove the rest of the day.
It was too late to charge them back up, and did not want to mess with the batteries Thursday; so the readings *should* have been low (11.5 - 12.9 volts). I never did charge it, but about an hour ago the meter read l4.7 to 15.0 volts on all 4 batteries! I turned it off and on and checked the meter several times. No change. Very high readings like I just finished charging, but it is in my garage covered as always. Any idea what happened? VERY hot batteries is scary! That was unusual. |

I once had a similar experience, come to find out the battery in my multimeter was very low, almost gone. I put in a new battery and the readings came back to normal.
