VTEC-E for city running? is it worth it?

Hi all,

I do lot of city running ,and I was thinking of buying a VTEC-E motor.

but since VTEC-E get the best results when cruising ,is it worth having a VTEC-E or am I better of with a normal VTEC?

cheers

The vtec-e engine gives you alot of low end torque, perfect for starting from a dead stop and for crawling along, if you are doing a steady 25mph on a flat road you can be in 5th gear if you are using the transmision from the vx/cx as well and your engine will be turning just under 1,000rpm.
You wouldn't get to use the lean burn part of the engine much, but the whole vtec-e is pretty impressive for an engine that was in a production car.
