Which VW 13" Aluminum Wheels Will Fit a 1985 Honda CRX HF?

Which water cooled VW 13" Aluminum Wheels Will Fit a 1985 Honda CRX HF, if any?

& will my 175 70 13" size Toyo tires fit?

Or which 13" aluminum alloy wheels would you recommend which are lighter than my steel wheels?

I want to replace my light weight steel wheels with inexpensive aluminum alloy wheels, which I will polish into a mirror like finish.

My wheels:

Bolt Pattern: 4 x 100mm
Backspacing?
5" Wide
13" Diameter
Weight 10 pounds each

Google is your friend. I've found several wheel interchange databases there.

Any 4x100mm VW wheels should fit. And the lug holes have ball-seats like Honda, so they're a great choice. 1992-95 Civic VX wheels are very light too. And the '85 CRX Si had 13" aluminum wheels.

Do you have any idea what year the 13" 4X100mm VW wheels were available as aluminum alloy? I was told only wheels from the water cooled VW would work.

I don't know too much about VW wheels. Most of the alloy ones I can think of are 14" wheels. But I have seen 13" VW alloys. I'd be looking for 80s Rabbit, Golf and Jetta wheels. eBay and some of the refurbished wheel seller websites are great for researching used wheels. And yes, air-cooled VW wheels are very different.

I swear this reads like a Yahoo Answers question. And in that vein I reply as I always do there: did you do ANY research at all? You already have most of the information regarding your stock wheels, find out exactly what the backspacing is supposed to be and you have everything. From there, ANY online wheel retailer should be able to hook you up with any of many ugly, awful alloys.

I'm having trouble believing you have steel wheels that are only ten pounds. If that's all they weigh and you're hoping for lighter, you might want to stop shopping; the 13" alloys I just looked up on Tire Rack weigh over thirteen pounds.

Gasoline Fumes' suggestion for CRX Si alloys is on the button. You know they'll fit and they're going to look right on your car.

The 175 tires should mount right up.
