VW Concepts

VW has a couple of interesting concepts:

Decent aerodynamics, in general, and in my opinion they are a good size, too.

At first glance, the first one reminds me the Audi A2

And the second one the Mégane coupé :

Sadly while my 15 years old car has Cd .31, Renault since has only few models with Cd <.30, despite multiplying aero details, and can't stop increasing frontal area.

Increasing frontal area seems to be an illness not only of new cars, but also of their drivers and passengers:rolleyes:

If we overlay the aero template on her she might not do too badly... :eek:

...yeah, but none of our engines "run" on silicon---yet!
