Arrow On the search for Honda Insight wheels!

I'm on the lookout for these wheels pictured above! They are the wheels off of the 00-06 Honda Insight. So far, searching Craigslist within 600 miles and car-part.com has turned up either nothing or the wheels are priced really high. There is only 1 within 100 miles of me (Smithfield, NC).

I do have a deadline of sorts. I need to have these rims in hand by June 19th. It is so I can return my spare rims on the car back to the junkyard where they belong.

Does anyone have a set, know of a set, have a way of finding a set that I do not know of?

I want to get all 4 for $200 or less, preferably.

Thanks guys!

I would try over at IC
I don't think enough of us here have Insights to be able to cough up any spares

Good luck!

Sorry to say, but I don't think you will find 4 for 200, they often go for 75-100$ a piece depending on condition. Good luck in your search though!

Grrr IC turned up nothing. I may have to create a profile and post a WTB to find anything.

Balto - Oh snap, they are more than I expected! I got an entire set of Mazda MX-3 alloys for $110! Wonder what makes them so high priced? Thanks!

Okay, so it looks like I need to allot $300 for these wheels. I am still holding out for a set under 2 bills

Try to find a set of Honda civic HX rims as well. I ran normal insight rims for like a week and I noticed no difference in mpg. The HX rims are lighter than the insight rims (not by much!) and they look better IMO.

I thought that the Insight wheels were under 10 pounds, while the HX wheels are 11.75? I'd rather have the Insight wheels though. They have an aero friendly design that will not require coroplast disk, and the unsprung weight advantage will help when I go lean

Chrysler, I checked on them. $131 a piece! Not this guy, I do not have quite that amount of money to spend on wheels right now.

The 19th is the last day I can return them to the JY. I'm talking about the 14x4 spare tires that will be returned. Then I will put the MX3 14s back on with smooth wheel covers for our meet, unless I can find the Insight wheels before then.
